Assistant & Operations Support
Collar City Cold-Pressed – Troy, NY
Collar City Cold-Pressed is looking for a highly capable, creative, and reliable assistant to work directly with our owner. This is a dynamic, hands-on role supporting both the business and related projects.
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, efficient, and creative. No two weeks will look exactly the same.
You should be someone who is organized, resourceful, and not afraid to get your hands dirty when needed.
How the Role Works
We will typically meet once a week (usually Mondays) to review priorities and projects. From there, you’ll take ownership of tasks throughout the week and work independently to help keep things running smoothly.
Some tasks may be creative and strategic, others logistical, operational, or organizational. Flexibility and initiative are key.
This role is project-based and varied, and could grow over time depending on the right fit.
Responsibilities May Include
Business Support
Creating basic marketing materials using Canva
Assisting with product launches or seasonal promotions
Researching vendors, equipment, or supplies
Organizing business systems and workflows
Assisting with events, collaborations, or special projects
Shopping, ordering, errands
Administrative & Organizational Tasks
Calendar coordination
Email or communication organization
Light project management
Building systems to help keep operations running efficiently
Errands & Logistics
Shopping for supplies or materials
Picking up orders
Running occasional business errands around the Capital Region
Helping prepare for events or photo shoots
The Ideal Candidate
You are someone who:
Has grit and a strong work ethic
Is reliable and highly organized
Is creative and comfortable with tech
Has a good sense for social media
Is systems-oriented and enjoys improving processes
Is proactive and can work independently without constant direction
Is comfortable with a role that mixes creative work and practical tasks

Requirements
Must be reliable and trustworthy
Strong organizational skills
Comfortable using Canva and basic digital tools
Access to transportation for errands (work van available for local use)
Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
Hours & Structure
This is a part-time role, with flexible hours depending on project needs.
Work may include:
Weekly planning meeting
Independent work throughout the week
Occasional in-person tasks in Troy
Compensation $18-22/hr based on experience.
